Pretty: “You know, Awesome, I think people are obsessed with shortcuts. Everyone wants results without effort.”
Awesome: “And what’s wrong with that? Even Google Maps gives shortcuts. Life should too.”
Pretty: “Maps give routes, not results. There’s a difference.”
Awesome: “Depends. I once took a shortcut in business and got a client worth three months’ revenue.”
Pretty: “And how many shortcuts cost you three months of sleep?”
Awesome: “Touché. But what’s your point?”
Pretty: “Shortcuts are fine… until they cut short your learning.”
Awesome: “Ah. So your problem isn’t shortcuts. It’s skipping the growth.”
Pretty: “Exactly. People want success delivered like Swiggy. But life is more like slow cooking.”
Awesome: “So what do we do then?”
Pretty: “Simple. Shortcut the noise. Never shortcut the journey.”
Awesome pauses.For once, he’s speechless.
Awesome: “Pretty… that was… pretty awesome.”
Pretty: “You’re welcome.”
🌟 Pretty Awesome Takeaway
Shortcut distractions.Shortcut overthinking. But never shortcut the process that builds you.

This was a nice read because it stayed simple and didn’t feel like it was trying to show off. I could skim it once and still catch the point, and the quick examples helped it feel more “real” instead of just theory. Halfway through I ended up clicking around newimage.io too, since it has that same straightforward, guide-y feel when you want a bit more context. What I liked most is it actually explains the reasoning behind the tips, not just tossing out a checklist. It also didn’t bury everything in huge blocks of text, which I appreciate when I’m reading on my phone. The headings were clear and the short paragraphs made the page super easy to scan.
