Embracing Vulnerability: The Courage in Seeking Help

In a world that often celebrates self-reliance, there lies a profound courage in admitting vulnerability. Reflecting on my own journey, the most courageous thing I've done is deceptively simple yet transformative – I asked for help.

In a society that values independence, the act of seeking assistance can be a daunting challenge.

It requires acknowledging our limitations, overcoming the fear of judgment, and embracing the vulnerability that comes with opening up. Yet, hidden within this vulnerability is a strength that transcends individual capabilities.

I have faced many challenges in my personal and professional life.

Loss of Business, Being in debt of 53lakhs due to the loss.

Loss of a Loved one, someone very close to my heart and life.

Being weak and sick for more than 15 years.

Being asked to leave the job, as the boss didn't like my performance.

Being diagnosed as clinically depressed.

Loss of a Parent.

Being ridiculed by own sister and kicked out from the house when I was going through my depression phase.

The turning point came when I realized that seeking help wasn't a sign of weakness but a testament to self-awareness and resilience.

I realised that asking for help is not Giving Up, Its Refusing to Give Up

It meant acknowledging that we all face challenges beyond our immediate control and that strength is found in our ability to reach out.

Asking for help also fosters connection and community. It breaks down the walls of isolation and creates a support system that empowers not only ourselves but those willing to lend a helping hand.
