  • Being Prosperity Principle 1

PRINCIPLE 1 YOU CAN’T GIVE MORE THAN THE UNIVERSE. This is the first fundamental secret of prosperity, and one that so many people miss. They approach prosperity as a “give me” thing, and never tune in to the real energy that surrounds it. Everything in the universe is based on the principle of trading value for value. But it is an unbalanced scale. What you send out comes back to you in multiples. Usually tenfold, so, when you sow seeds of good, much more good will come back to you. This holds true for the money you tithe, the love you give, and the good you do. As hard as you may try, you can’t out give the universe. So go out and make a random act of kindness, sow a seed to someone in need, and be extra nice to that server in the restaurant. Much more prosperity is coming your way!

  • Being Prosperity Principle 2

PRINCIPLE 2 THERE’S NOTHING FOR NOTHING THE ONLY FREE CHEESE IS IN THE MOUSETRAP. That statement sounds like I’m being arrogant, but it actually is a very concise, and very profound summary of how the laws of prosperity operate. You don’t get rich winning the lottery, getting an inheritance, or digging out a box of gold coins in your backyard!! Those things may happen to poor people and create some temporary wealth… But the wealth won’t stay around, or you won’t achieve true prosperity for free. There is always a price to pay, (the fair exchange of values we discussed in the first secret). A big part of the price you pay to become prosperous is becoming the kind of person that handles prosperity responsibly. Studies have shown again and again that most poor people who win large windfalls in the lottery are broke and miserable ten years later. And we are talking about people who have won ten, twenty or even forty lakh rupees! They got the cash, but they didn’t have the prosperity consciousness. So the money never stayed, and the other elements of prosperity never showed up. Nothing comes for free. If in a transaction someone gave you extra 200 rupees by mistake, or you find someone do some work for you without you paying for it, or you help yourself to an extra newspaper when no one is looking—you are incurring a definite karma debt. And those debts always come due. Prosperous people never look for anything for free. They are always happy to exchange value for everything.

  • Being Prosperity Principle 5

PRINCIPLE 5 PROSPERITY IS BUILT WITH WORDS. Or more specifically, the words you speak. It always amazes me when people affirm the most negative things. A friend called me few days back to say that he had hit his car into a tree. He told me, “Every time things really start going good for me, something always happens to set me back.” Well of course it does, he’s programming that belief right into his subconscious mind, which orders it to take place on the physical realm. Think how many times good things happen and people say something like, “I can’t believe it! I never win anything.” Then something bad happens. They drop a dish, spill something, or something happens, and they proclaim, “I knew that was going to happen!” Of course they did. I hear people say things like, “Every winter I get at least three colds.” I used to say, “As the climate changes I get an Asthma Attack.” And of course it did. Until I stopped affirming that. Hasn’t happened now in over seventeen years. Some people think it’s polite, modest, humble or a good way to fit in by speaking of themselves in demeaning terms. Statements like, “I’m always a day late and a thousand rupees short,” “ we never have enough money to around with” , will endear you to broke people. But they also repel prosperity and become self-fulfilling prophecies. So if you’re going to determine your prosperity by the words you speak, why not affirm things like the positive statements below? “Money is attracted to me like a magnet!” “Money keeps coming to me easily!” Remember: Loose Lips Sinks Ships – way old saying

  • Being Prosperity Principle 6

PRINCIPLE 6 HEALTH, LOVE, HAPPINESS, AND MONEY ARE INFINITE. If you give someone a hug, does that reduce the number of hugs you have left to give? Of course not. In fact, if you are known as the kind of person who gives hugs, you will likely attract a lot more of them to you. Things that make up true prosperity like health, love, happiness, and money are infinite, and actually create their own expansion. The more love you give away, the more you attract to you. Abundant health builds upon itself and fosters more. Happiness operates in the same way. Because you can’t out give the universe, money that you circulate creates its own energy, which creates ripple effects of prosperity, which ultimately find their way back to you. It is a self-replicating cycle that goes on indefinitely. Where and since when have you been trained to see there is lack in universe, money, abundance and opportunities?

  • Being Prosperity Principle 7

PRINCIPLE 7 Vacuum Law of Prosperity The glass of water as soon as it’s emptied; the nature fills it with air. Nature disregards a vacuum, and will always fill it with good. Can you take a breath a new fresh air, without emptying your lungs with previously held air? No, right? Similarly The universe cannot place something in your hand, if it is clenched around something else. The best way to attract something positive is to release something negative, and create a vacuum for good. If you want some new clothes, it’s best to clean out your closet first, and donate some old clothes to the homeless shelter. If you are looking for your soul mate, you must first let go of any abusive other relationship you are in. When you are not attracting all the prosperity you are seeking in your life, ask yourself what you are holding on to that you should be releasing?

  • Being Prosperity Principle 9

PRINCIPLE 9 YOU MAY ASK FOR WHAT YOU THINK YOU WANT. BUT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU REALLY NEED. When I pray for others, and myself, rather than ask for specific things, I always ask for the highest good. If you seek something specific, better to ask for it “or something better.” Many times we let past events, emotional baggage and other things cloud our judgment. We think we want one thing, but often what we really want is something different. This can be good or bad. For the first 30 years of my life, I thought I wanted to be a millionaire. In reality, what I really wanted was to be a victim, and get sympathy from those around me. In sympathy they would feel like helping me and they would give me money and I would become a millionaire. Never happened. Only beggars gain sympathy, not millionaires. It was only when what I really wanted changed (from being a victim to being a millionaire) that it actually happened. More work came to me. Money always comes in disguise of opportunities and work. I took actions and that’s how I got the cash flowing in my life

  • Being Prosperity Principle 16

PRINCIPLE 16 YOU’LL SEE PROSPERITY, WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN IT. We know that ideas are the conduits that allow man to transform prosperity from the ethers into manifestation on the physical realm. But it won’t happen without belief as well. You must see your good, seek your good, and believe in your good to make it appear. Those with less talent, but stronger belief, achieve far more, far sooner, than those with ability, but little faith. Believe in your good before you see it. Logic will analyse. Faith will take the action.

  • Being Prosperity Principle 20

PRINCIPLE 20 VICTIM ATTRACTS PROBLEMS VICTOR ATTRACTS PROSPERITY. It doesn’t serve you or the Universe to play VICTIM. It may be one of the most common things we say to ourselves: “I will be happy when…” How do you complete that sentence? You may say you will be happy when you have a new home, better job, a different body shape, a new relationship, or a dream vacation. Unfortunately, in our culture and great marketers are very convincing that our happiness lies “out there” and “when” something else happens. This way of thinking may be running in the background of your unconscious mind, and you may not realize the power it has over you. I first became conscious of this internal chatter when I heard myself say, “I will be happy when I have a new car, a certain amount of income.” As I got awareness to this belief, I was equally stunned by its implications. If I have staked my happiness on something I am powerless to control, then haven’t I set myself up to feel like a Victim to a thought of my own making? Yes, of course! In the first half of life, it is natural to focus on careers, homes, income, and so much more that is about creating a life for yourself. However, being overly focused on these “things” implies that all your hard work is focused on the future and your happiness is based upon whether you attain those things or not. If you are overly focused on completing tasks today to obtain something in the future, you may put a lot of pressure on yourself to get everything done perfectly. Rather than being in a joyful relationship with yourself today, work becomes obsessively linked to obtaining something in the future. And if stressed about getting everything done just right, you may become worried there isn’t enough time to achieve everything now, which creates more overwhelm and stress. With this pressure, you may notice how quickly your mind shifts from one task to the next, setting your sight on the “when” goal. This can create an endless loop of “I will be happy when…” bouncing from task to task. What happens if the “when” you have staked your happiness on, never comes? Shifting your focus from the future to the present moment is the secret. Here’s one suggestion to help you do that. Next time you hear “I will be happy when…” shift to “I am happy because…” Here are a few examples: “I will be happy when I get a promotion.” Say, “I am happy because I am working toward a promotion.” “I will be happy when I have a new client.” Say, “I am happy because I am committed to growing my business.” “I will be happy when I have a grandchild” to “I am happy because I find joy and laughter with all children.” With this change in language, you redirect your focus onto what you value now, today, rather than attached to a “when” destination. During the pandemic, many people have stepped back and asked themselves bigger questions such as “What do I care about?” and “What inspires me?” If you focus on these more meaningful questions and let go of staking your happiness on “when” statements, you will discover that your life is a whole lot happier with more ease and joy.

  • Being Prosperity Principle 21

PRINCIPLE 21 PROSPERITY LEAVES CLUES. Truly prosperous people are easy to spot. They make their bed in the morning; they have a clean desk; and they even wash their rental car. Prosperous people drive clean cars, live in clean houses and dress well. Washing a rental car, or making your bed in a hotel room is only affirming your great value to yourself. They do these things not because they have to, but because they want to, in order to be in a prosperous environment. They treat the gate-keeper, waitress, and cashier with the same kindness as they would show a Head of State. They respect their own body, and treat it accordingly. Not just this, Prosperous people leave clues in the books they write. Every prosperous person I know of has an innate nature of helping others learn what they know of prosperity.

  • Being Prosperity Principle 23

PRINCIPLE 23 GRATITUDE ATTRACTS PROSPERITY MUCH FASTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE. The whole process of mental adjustment and attunement can be summed up in one word: Gratitude. First, you believe that there is one intelligent substance from which all things proceed. Secondly, you believe that this substance gives you everything you desire. And, thirdly, you relate yourself to it through a feeling of deep and profound gratitude. Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. Having received one gift from God, they cut the wires which connect them with Him by failing to make acknowledgment. It is easy to understand that the nearer we live to the source of wealth, the more wealth we shall receive. It is also easy to understand that a soul that is always grateful lives in closer touch with God than one who never looks to Him in thankful acknowledgment. When good things come to us, the more gratefully we fix our mind on the Supreme Power, the more good things we will receive - and the more rapidly they will come. The reason for this is simply that the mental attitude of gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come. If it is a new thought to you that gratitude brings your whole mind into closer harmony with the creative energies of the universe, consider it well, and you will see that it is true. The good things you already possess have come to you because of certain laws. Gratitude will lead your mind out along the ways by which things come. And, it will keep you along the ways by which things come. And, it will keep you in close harmony with creative thought and prevent you from falling into competitive thought. Gratitude alone can keep you looking toward the Infinite and prevent you from falling into the error of thinking that the supply of riches is limited - and to think that would be fatal to your hopes. There is a law of gratitude, and if you are to get the results you seek, it is absolutely necessary that you should observe this law. The law of gratitude is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions. And, if your gratitude is strong and constant, the reaction in the formless substance will be strong and continuous. The movement of the things you want will always be toward you. You cannot exercise much power without gratitude, because it is gratitude that keeps you connected with power. But, the value of gratitude does not consist solely in getting more blessings in the future. Without gratitude you cannot keep from being displeased with things as they are. The moment you permit your mind to dwell with displeasure upon things as they are, you begin to lose ground. You fix attention upon the common, the poor, the filth, and the mean - and your mind takes the form of these things. You will then transmit these forms or mental images to the formless. Thus, the common, the poor, the filth and the mean will come to you. To permit your mind to dwell upon the inferior is to become inferior and to surround yourself with inferior things. On the other hand, to fix your attention on the best is to surround yourself with the best and to become the best. The creative power within us makes us into the image of that to which we give our attention. We are thinking substance, and thinking substance always takes the form of that which it thinks about. The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best. Therefore, it tends to become the best; it takes the form or character of the best and will receive the best. Faith is born of gratitude. The grateful mind continually expects good things, and expectation becomes faith. The reaction of gratitude upon one's own mind produces faith. Every outgoing wave of grateful thanksgiving increases faith. The person who has no feeling of gratitude cannot long retain a living faith. And, without a living faith you cannot get rich by the creative method. It is necessary, then, to cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you to give thanks continuously. And, because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude. Do not waste time thinking or talking about the shortcomings or wrong actions of other people Be grateful. This will bring you into a harmonious relationship with the good in everything and the good in everything will move toward vou.

  • Being Prosperity Principle 35

PRINCIPLE 35 MANIFESTING PROSPERITY IS NOT ABOUT JUDGMENT. An opposite but equal force balances everything in the universe. Masculine and feminine, yin and yang, positive and negative. All just transactions are based upon the principle of win-win, or put another way, fair exchange of values. Now I should interject here that I use the term negative for purposes of clarity of illustration. In actuality, I believe that the force that created the world is positive and good. The things we may label negative and bad are caused not by a "bad" God or universe, but by our reactions to that good. If you get a flat tire on your way to the supermarket, you probably think that is bad. But the guy who owns the tire store (who is trying to send his daughter to college) might see it as good. I could choose to think that my teeth alignment was negative. But my dentist who did my braces may have another viewpoint. Winter is not bad and summer is not good. And spring doesn't have to be bad for fall to be good. They just are. And we need the contrasts for anything to have meaning for us. So, the point here is not to philosophize about what is good or bad, or get side-tracked by labels. The important thing is that you realize that nothing is free; everything comes at a fair exchange of value. Everything.

  • Being Prosperity Principle 37

PRINCIPLE 37 YOU WON'T GET YOUR NEXT ASSIGNMENT, UNTIL YOU'VE FINISHED YOUR CURRENT ONE. And not just finished it, but also done it correctly, to the best of your ability. A life of prosperity is a series of assignments, each one growing you, developing your talents, and expanding your consciousness. As your consciousness grows, so does the impact you make. So your responsibilities increase, as your ability to meet them increases. You start to influence a bigger circle, which attracts greater prosperity to you.
